      Hi there netters;

      We had a wonderful week before Christmas show.  A lot of folks emailed in because they were "off" rehearsal or just wanted to check in and request something.  T.J. and I like that, "cause that's what we're all about...playing the music you want.

      We are still looking for a third person to complete the "ensemble" team.  We have heard from several people and will be setting up interviews with them.  If you think that you would like to be part of a great radio team, and live within driving distance of Upper Montclair, NJ, please contact me at RMTMUSIC@....  We hope to have the new person on board during January.  For those who have emailed us, be patient, we will be contacting you soon .

      Tonight (the 26th), we are playing the sacred music of the Chirstmas Holiday.  We will take your requests at  applause@...   and expect to have an evening of very inspirational music from the greatest a cappella groups in the world.  One special part of the night will be a presentation of The Ramapo Spotlight Chorus of their "Gift of Love" from their new CD of the same title.

      We attended two great acappella shows last weekend, one at the South Street Seaport, featuring the wonderful music of The Big Apple Chorus, and the other featuring the music of two a cappella groups, VOXY (5 lovely ladies), and MYSTERY DATE (4 very talented guys) at the Cabaret Room at the Duplex in Lower Manhattan.  The Big Apple Chorus was the feature group at Southstreet Seaport all season, performing every weekend since Thanksgiving as the "Singing Live Christmas Tree" on the Seaport's main plaza.  They did 24 performances throughout the four weeks, introducing barbershop to thousands of people from around the world.  Congratulations to the Big Apple Chours on this accomplishment.  VOXY and MYSTERY DATE were doing a joint holiday show.  Their individual harmonies are excellent, and when they sang together, they created an exceptionally mellow and smooth sound.  We expect to hear more of these two groups in the future on the APPLAUSE Show.

      We still need your financial  support.  I f you have been waiting for that special time to say "I believe in listener supported, totally dedicated radio featuring barbershop and a cappella music"... now is the time for action <G>  Please check out our website at
      www.harmonize.com/applauseshow   and click on the button "How to support us".  Gives you all the info you need to become part of this incredible journey.... 4 1/2 hours every week now, but with support from the a cappella community, we could be 24/7, 365 days a year ... LIVE RADIO... without a whole lot of  effort.  You as an individual, or you as a chapter or group, can participate in building the show and the station to the benefit of barbershop and a cappella music.  Thanks for your support
