- Jan 17, 2014Hi All,As many know by now, fanfictionwriters.com has been dismantled. In my zest to take down the website, I forgot to ask those who contributed over the years if they wanted their stories returned. If you are one of the many writers who gracelessly allowed me to host your stories, please email me privately, along with the user name and email address you used to post your stories.Since this is the only KFTLC group I am a member, please pass this email to other writers and Fu groups who might not be on this one.Thanks everyone,Cindy
This should not have come as a surprise to anyone. After the writer flame attacks in 2011, the archive never recovered, and the end result caused irreversible harm to the website.
But, FFW had a great twenty (20) year run, so there are no complaints, and all good things must come to an end eventually.
A special thanks to all the writers, too numerous to mention, who archived their stories over the years. I wish you continued success in your future works.
To the many readers, who remained so loyal over the years, words cannot express my sincere gratitude you provided. Without your reviews, posts, and encouragement, FFW never would have been successful.
