      The first theatrical production of 2006 featuring 5 original pieces
      written by Bindlestiff artists.

      The Love Edition presents 5 tales of love, heartache, and all the
      weirdness in between. Set in the backdrop of a late-night radio show,
      watch stories unfold on a bed love songs and wacky banter for a relaxed
      and romantic evening. The audience is able to make requests and
      dedications to the show’s host to add to the fun.

      The show Includes:

      "Weirdo Love"
      Directors- Maryper Alfonso and Jonas San Buenaventura
      Writer- Gayle Romasanta
      Synopsis: Sex toys, handcuffs, and bunny ears. Oh...by the way...it’s a
      musical.

      "That's what they all say"
      Director - Aureen Almario
      Writer - Gayle Romasanta
      Synopsis: When a mom plays matchmaker to her pregnant daughter, chaos ensues.

      "PDA (Private Display of Affliction)"
      Writer- Anton Delfino
      Director- Lorna Chui-Velasco
      Synopsis: A forbidden love. A history. A heavy conscience. A ring. A
      decision. Eric and Jules struggle with their own addictions in a battle of
      wits and emotions.

      "Screeching"
      Writer- Sam Chanse
      Director- Anton Delfino
      Synopsis: Two ex-lovers discuss their present, their past, and the future
      of their child.

      "Love in the Time of Diarrhea"
      Writer- Jericho Saria
      Director- Ryan Morales
      Synopsis: There are two things you just can’t keep inside no matter how
      much you try.

      THE LOVE EDITION is Bindlestiff’s first production for 2006 out of many
      event series cultivating talented young individuals with the intention of
      self-empowerment through expression.


      Tune in as Bindlestiff turns off the lights and takes you through an
      evening filled with slow jams, smooth conversation, and tales of love,
      heartache and all the weirdness in between.

      Experience 5 classic and “not so” classic stories written, directed and
      performed by Bindlestiff artists for you and that someone special to
      enjoy.

      THE LOVE EDITION is a series of 5 short plays presented in a “Radio
      Program” format with Love as its theme. The radio program will have the
      usual happenings of a radio station including audience requests and
      dedications. All the pieces presented are original plays written and
      directed by Bindlestiff artists from the past and present.

      BINDLESTIFF STUDIOS
      Established in 1997, Bindlestiff Studio is the only permanent,
      community-based performing arts venue in the nation dedicated to
      showcasing emerging Filipino American and Pilipino artists. Bindlestiff
      Studio provides the often under-served Filipino American community access
      to diverse offerings in theatrical productions, music and film festivals,
      workshops in directing, production, acting, stand-up comedy, and writing,
      as well as a children and youth theater program.

      MISSION STATEMENT
      Bindlestiff Studio aims to cultivate, inspire and mentor the next
      generation of Filipino American artists and community leaders in an
      affordable, community-based professional theater setting. The theater's
      programming encourages bold artistic productions, which represent the
      diverse values, traditions and histories of Pilipino & Filipino American
      cultures.
