      Barbara Jane Reyes was born in Manila, Philippines and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She received her BA in Ethnic Studies at UC Berkeley and her MFA at SF State University. She is the author of Gravities of Center (Arkipelago, 2003) and Poeta en San Francisco (Tinfish, 2005), for which she received the James Laughlin Award from the Academy of American Poets. She lives in Oakland, CA.

      David Maduli was born in San Francisco and raised all over the place as a military brat. He received his BA in Sociology from UC Berkeley and his Masters from Harvard Graduate School of Education. He has studied and composed poetry as a summer resident with Voices of Our Nations Arts Foundation (VONA). His work has been published in the literary journals Maganda and Cipactli. He is also a veteran East Bay middle school teacher and resides in Oakland.

      Anthem Salgado is an artist, writer, and performer born in Quezon City, Philippines, raised in Nyack, New York, and is now a longtime resident of San Francisco, California. Salgado's words appear on landmark Filipino poetry CD Infliptration and he has opened for such acts as the legendary Last Poets. He has performed on various stages throughout the Bay Area including Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, Dance Mission Theater, La Pena Cultural Center, and The Women's Building. Presently, he writing series of prose surrounding inspired by his coming of age in upstate New York.
