So I went out yesterday in a bit more wind than I had previously on
      my freeair 11.0.

I wouldn't be able to ride very far at all before my speed was
totally out of control and I was way too powered.

I've read that one needs to dig your board rails in hard, to slow
down the board, and get the kite flying further forward in the
window. But every time I'd do this the board would "skip" out on me
and I'd land on my ass.

When I tried to dig the rails in, but not so hard as to skip out, I
couldn't get the kite to fly far enough forward to depower.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? I'm on a 5-6 directional (lil' bugga
from esm) which has 2 small side fins, and 2 thruster type fins in
      back.

      Thanks in advance.

      Jeff
