Re: [ksurfschool] Getting the kite forward in the window
- Yes, it is mostly because you have a 2 lined kite.
Don't worry about the walk of contemplation, the knobs who call it the walk of same are full of it!
Everyone does it at some time anyway, and how else are you supposed to learn?
So silly the big ego crap kiteboarders are trying to play on each other!!
Have fun mate and 4 line that kite as soon as you can, they actually work great as a 4 liner!

Subject: [ksurfschool] Getting the kite forward in the window
Although it may not be "kosher" most of the people at my beach
(Alameda in CA) do the "walk of shame" flying their kites. Some
almost look like they are being pulled up the beach slightly by
flying the kite way forward in the window while they walk upwind.
I, however seem to be getting pulled downwind, even with the kite way
forward in the window (at the same angle as everyone else). Walking
up the beach seems all but impossible.
Am I doing something wrong here? Is it partly the kite (freeair 11m
in 2line mode)?
Thanks in advance,
