Dwight, why does a big board not work for high winds / more power? Is it because (with more power): It normally has thicker rails and doesn t edge that well It

Dwight, why does a big board not work for high winds / more power?

Is it because (with more power):
It normally has thicker rails and doesn't edge that well
It has higher volume and rides higher / out the water and loses edge
It has longer rail in water and rides higher / out the water and loses edge

      ?

      Cheers

Yes, all of the above do affect the ability to hold the power and stay in control. Some designers
can make boards with some these features, work in high winds. In general you are correct.
