Glad to be aboard.
- I'd like to thank Hung and all of you for the intersting conversation. (I've read
most of the posting for this year). About a month ago I got a B-1 to learn how
to fly, and had some interesting moments in the surf with some heavy side
shore winds. Last week I got a used CA 5.0 and had the first chance to try it
yesterday in light/decreasing airs. It's a dream kit to fly with a much more
'floating' sensation than the B-1, slashing side-to-side, offered.
I promise to get down to Hatteras for some lessons, but is there anything else
I can ride before I tackle a board? Has anyone seen a Boogie board used? I
surf just south of Ocean City MD and would prefer to stay in the Ocean. So far
I haven't seen any other kites...nor have most of the tourists. I had one
Saturday ask if I 'landed' on the beach? Bitchin'.
