Group Description

Kosovo-News-Discuss is a group intended to facilitate both 1st-hand news from persons either in Kosovo and/or Serbia and from persons observing the NATO effort...and discussion by concerned parties. The list is moderated to bar commercial posts and flaming (personal attacks on other posters).

This list was created to offer a Web Forum for both real life informational e-mail updates from the Kosovo/Serbia/Yugoslavia region and to foster discussion of events and the actions of the parties involved.

All persons contributions are welcome, from people on the ground to those in the skies, and those farther afield. Third person accounts and rumors, however, are discouraged.

There will be no attempt to determine the authenticity or the accuracy of posts submitted.

If you are concerned about publishing your e-mail address from within Yugoslavia try posting via the Anonomizer http://info.anonymizer.com/kosovo.shtml service to protect your identity or see their site more details.

This e-mail to web publishing mechanism is intended to foster debate and/or discussion - however flaming, the attack of persons rather than ideas, will not be tolerated. The exception is public figures, such as Presidents and Prime Ministers, however, attacks on their character must be something more substantial than simple name-calling.

To submit a personal report from the Kosovo area send it directly to:

The post will go automatically onto the web. Please pass the e-mail address to as many people in the region as possible. Also, please don't post other's copyrighted material. Permission is hearby granted for the reuse of any posts submitted to this forum. Your submission of posts grants permission for others to publish your comments in other mediums.
