      I got an email from the Mariners Museum in Newport News Va (where we had
      NAB 2003) asking if we could man a booth at their show. I contacted them and
      told them the IGKT would love to be there. If anyone would like to help man
      the booth during one or both days drop me a line.

      > The Mariners Museum in NN is holding its second annual Classic and
      > Antique Boat Show on Saturday and Sunday, October 16 & 17. The
      > International Guild of Knot Tyers is invited to the event to operate a
      > public information exhibition booth to demonstrate knot tying and
      > inform the visitors about the organization's activities. There will be
      > no charge for a public information booth. Should you or other members
      > elect to sell items, a booth fee of $50 will apply.

      > contemporary sail and powerboats - to include a display of one-design
      > racing sailboats that are used locally for high school, college, and
      > yacht club sailing programs. We will also have several educational
      > exhibits by other maritime museums, local schools, marine designers,
      > riggers, sail-makers, USCG auxiliary, canoers, skullers, knot tyers,
      > community sailing centers and yacht surveyors. Booths will also be
