I've been rearranging my yarn closet, and I found a fair amount of yarn and
one kit that could use a good home. This is a totally smoke-free house.
Yarns are in original put-up, unless otherwise stated. I'd prefer to sell,
rather than swap, as I'm running out of room! :-)) I'll be happy to send
yarn and kit whichever way you'd like it sent--parcel post, first-class,
priority, you name it. You'd pay postage plus yarn. Get in touch with me,
      and make me an offer!

      KIT

Victorian Video, Knit a Silk Scarf with this Knitting Unspun Silk Video Kit,
comes with an instructional video tape, 1 1/2 oz hand-dyed (hot pinks,
burgundy, royal blue, turquoise, yellow) silk for the scarf, a few natural
undyed silk hankies to practice with, a pair of size 2 Brittany dpns, and 2
      knitting patterns for scarf

      YARNS

      1. WoolEase, 2 balls Wedgewood #160 (white with blue sprinkles), dye lot
      12160, 86% acrylic, 10% wool, 4% rayon, 3 oz./85 g/197 yd., gauge: 4.5 st =
      1" on US #8 needles

      2. WoolEase, 2 balls Rose Heather #140, dye lot 11660, 80% acrylic, 20%
      wool, same weight/length/gauge as #1

      3. WoolEase, 6 balls Rainbow Mist #405, dye lot 13255 (3 balls), 12903 (2
balls), and 1 ball is missing ball band, same fiber
      content/weight/length/gauge as #1

      4. Scheepjeswol, 9 balls grass green #220, dye lot 18648, 60% cotton, 40%
      linen, 170 m/50 g, 24 sts = 10 cm/4" on #3 1/2 needles (I'm guessing that
      this is European, rather than a US size; yarn is pretty skinny, with slubs;
      great texture)

      5. Hayfield Lugano, 2 balls grass green #094077 (lighter than #4 above), dye
      lot #597, 51% mohair, 37.5% nylon, 11.5% acrylic, 50 g each, no yardage
given, but it looks quite good, US #8/5 1/2 mm/UK #5, no gauge given

      6. Hayfield Lugano, 1 ball lavender #094070, dye lot #584, other
      specifications as per #5 above

      7. Hayfield Luxury Mohair, 1 ball mustard yellow (not as bright as that;
maybe with a brownish tone) #031060, dye lot #589, 80% mohair, 10% acrylic,
      10% nylon, 50 g/111 yd/101 m, 16 sts = 10 cm/4 " on US #8/5 1/2 mm/ UK #5

      8. Pingouin Guernsey, 6 balls: 2 in black and white twist with darkest green
highlights and tiny bits of red (#4303, dye lot #03), 1 in black, grey, and
white twist with subtlest amounts of darkest green and red (#9201, dye lot
#03), 3 in grey, black, and white twist with subtlest amounts of darkest
green and red (#2201, dye lot #02), all of these coordinate superbly with
      each other, 34% acrylic, 32% cotton, 26% wool, 4% viscose, 4% polyester,
      loosely twisted and very texturally interesting, 50 g/1 3/4 oz/90 m/98 yd,
      16 sts = 10 cm/4" on US #7-8/4 1/2-5 mm

      9. Southmaid 100% mercerized cotton, 2 balls dusty rose #475, size 10
(crochet cotton size, I think, although I've used this for knitting any
      number of times), 350 yd/320 m

      10. Southmaid 100% mercerized cotton, 2 balls purple #458, same size and
      yardage as #9

      11. J.P. Coats LusterSheen, 1 ball, 100% acrylic cable twist, magenta #277,
      1.75 oz/50 g

      12. Lunatic Fringe, 1 cone (1.5 lb) 10/2 (spinning terms, I think),
mercerized 100% cotton, hand-dyed medium pink (although I think I'd call
      this hot pink)

      13. Lunatic Fringe, 1 cone (15 oz) dark green (spruce?) 100% cotton, I
      believe this is also 10/2

      14. Lunatic Fringe, 1 cone (1 1/8 lb) pale green (lightest olive), 100%
cotton, thinner than 10/2, very soft and silky and shiny

      15. Lunatic Fringe, 2 cones (1 1/8 lb each), 10/2 100% cotton, unmercerized,
dark denim combo (a denimy twist of dark and light blue)

      16. Lunatic Fringe, 1 cone (1/2 lb), 100% cotton, probably 10/2, variegated
of salmon to rust to turquoise, very soft, not shiny

      17. knitalong, very glittery and skinny medium blue, 1 cone (9 oz.), don't
      have content; I've used these to carry along to spice up shawls and such;
they're too skinny to change your gauge, #17-20 are made in Japan

      18. same as above, but in a lighter blue, a sort of sky blue

      19. same as above, 1 cone (1 1/4 lb), but in gold twist with a bit of white

      20. same as above, 1 cone (9.5 oz), but in a cranberry (comes with a yarn
      bra!)

      21. Jaggerspun 100% wool peacock ragg (1 strand peacock blue and 2 strands
white twist), 2 cones (each about 1 1/4 lb), no gauge given, but I'd guess
      in the US #3 range

      22. Lunatic Fringe, 1 cone (4 oz.) 100% 5/2 (thicker than the 10/2 above)
mercerized cotton, bright yellow; #22-27 are one "hunk" of the spectrum that
      Lunatic Fringe uses

      23. Lunatic Fringe, 1 cone (2 oz.), rest same as above, but mustard yellow

      24. Lunatic Fringe, 1 cone (4 oz.), rest same as above, but yellow red

      25. Lunatic Fringe, same as above, but yellow red that's redder than #24

      26. Lunatic Fringe, same as above, but red (with some orange)

      27. Lunatic Fringe, same as above, but red (true lipstick red)
