  • Natalie, Have you looked at http://www.knitic.com/ this approach basically replaces the 1992 boad that drives the solenoids int he brother machine and uses an arduino based pcb board to drive them. The good thing about it is it doesnt use the kludgy brother board and wonky electronics. Mar and Varvara have a complete work around and are dedicated to continuing the project. It seems...
