I did a course there and I can confirm all this: the weather was nice, the
spots were amazing, the winds steady and not too much and the women more than
great!! And of course, the surfing itself was great, learned a lot!! I also
learned that only very few people around actually know what kite surfing
is...... Laurant is one of them, he probably surfed in almost any condition,
so he knows what he is talking about. Here in Belgium, so others are also
picking up kite surfing, already giving demo's and teaching others, after only
a couple of days surfing, they already talk like pro's but they probably
haven't seen a good kite surfer do his thing, because if they had, they would
know they have a lot to learn yet!! So, I think that probably some 20 or so
kite surfers in the world have enough experience to actually teach others, to
talk about surfing in different conditions, with different boards and
kites..... I think that if you want to take lessons, you should try to get
them from the real experienced surfers......

      Hope this helps!!

      Nick.

Hé Nick I haven't see you on the water in Belgium, so don't be talking about
other people if you haven't surfed with them. I have been to the south of
France a couple of times, even a few times to see Laurent, and I didn't see
so much differents in what he does.

So come and surf with us a time, so you can see people over here don't talk
like pro's and if they do they know what they saying...

        NEXT SURFING SESSION: tonight, 7/5/99 - 18.30 ST.IDESBALD KOKSIJDE

Each two weeks in the summer we having surf session, for everbody who
        kitesurfs in Belgium and arround...

Hope to see you on the water, maybe you will less talk then.....

        stay safe

        Peter
