      Hi everyone

Does any of you ever surf on the sand on
a sandboard (sort of snow board)? I
tried it out last year (for the first
time anyone ever tried it?). And today
I'm still doing it. I made myself a good
board and now I go pretty fast (about 35
km/h I think). When I'll have the guts
to try it out at harder winds I think I
can go almost as fast as buggy on a
      board!!!

      Peace&Wind
      Marcel

Yes we do. The only problem we have found is that our beaches are
fairly narrow (<50m) and we usually just get a downwind run with a few
shallow turns - but its good fun especially on lighter wind days when
it's not strong enough to get up and planing.

        Cheers,
        Ian

            > hello
            > sandkitesurf it´s possible with a sandboard and wax
the sand board are made with a formica base and i think that it´s the
            better material
i use as wax a bee-wax and fourniture creams but it spends more
quikly, over 30-40 m of surfing there isn´t wax
sandboarding velocity is comparable to snowboard if you are using wax

good winds & waves for everybody
