      At California City this morning:
      NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH
First seen by Tom Wurster at the pond alongside the 8th tee. The 8th
is on the south side of the main street in CalCity. Turn south at
the sign for Village Real Estate and park in that lot. Walk south
toward the willows and cottonwoods lining the pond. The bird was
along the bank on the east side of the pond, "tink"-ing regularly and
loudly (the loudest sound at the pond). It was present from at least
      0900 to 1130.
The 14th tee was also very birdy but the park and 3-par golf
course were quiet. At the 14th tee:
      YELLOW WARBLER
      WILSON'S WARBLER
      ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER
      COMMON YELLOTHROAT
      WARBLING VIREO
      WESTERN TANAGER
      LAZULI BUNTING
as well as a number of the regulars.
