      Now you may be asking yourself what does a cat have to do with Kern Co.
      birding? Well, the answer is there is one currently on the loose and
      hunting up a storm at Cerro Coso Community College. If you'd like a gray
      cat, don't hesitate to swing by and pick it up.

      Overall not a good birding day. Best bird was a female varied thrush on the
      north side of the gym.

      The Snow Geese have returned to the alfalfa fields to the west of the
      cemetery. I counted 10 Ross's Geese in with them.
