Western Snowy Plover Blog Series
I recently finished a 7-part series on Western Snowy Plovers, which is now posted on the Malibu Patch blogsite.
It was written for a general audience, primarily to increase local awareness of the plover's presence, and focuses on the plovers in L.A. County.
However, the general information pertaining to WSP's in California should be of interest to Kern County birders as well.
If you have any comments or suggestions, you can leave them on the blogsite (although you must first 'register' with them) or you can email me directly.
In any particular part, you should be able to directly access the other parts, but if you can't, here they all are.
