Birding Galileo Hill/Silver Saddle Ranch 4/26/10
- Today, Monday, 4/26/10, we birded Galileo Hill/Silver Saddle Ranch on the eastern Kern desert. We saw two Solitary Sandpipers together on the edge of the pond near the stables. There was one White-faced Ibis at the large lake. Other birds seen today were a couple of empid species, several Cassin's Vireos, Orange-crowned Warbler(6), MacGillivray's Warbler(1), Common Yellowthroat(2), Wilson's Warbler(10+), Western Tanager(4), Black-headed Grosbeak(2), Lazuli Bunting(1),
and one Golden-crowned Sparrow.
