Sunday, July 1st was a very pleasant day in the mid 70's at the top of
Mt. Abel. While, the birds were generally expected, they were of
interest. There was a pair of Green-tailed Towhees, several m/f
White-headed Woodpeckers, a couple of pairs of the Large-billed Fox
Sparrows plus Olive-sided and Dusky Flycatchers. There were many -- over
30 seen-- Mountain Chickadees plus Violet-green Swallows and Chipping
      Sparrows.
