Band-tailed Pigeon and Black-and-white Warbler at Galileo Hill 10/19/05
- Today, Wednesday, 10/19/05, at 10:30 we saw a Band-tailed Pigeon in a tree near the Trap and Skeet Range. At 11:00 we saw a Black-and-white Warbler on a tree trunk that was in front of the Archery Range sign. Earlier in the morning, we saw a male Vermilion Flycatcher, several Golden Crown Kinglets, Ring-necked Ducks, Red-breasted Nuthatch, and a Belted Kingfisher. We also saw a Northern Flicker "Yellow-shafted" that was brought to our attention by two other birders.
On Saturday, 10/22/05, we will place a photo of the Band-tailed Pigeon and the Black-and-white Warbler into the kerncobirding photo section.
