      Hi All,

Sorry for the late post. Eastern Kern had a lot of birds today (2 Oct.)
with some nice rarities as well. Following is a partial list of the
      highlights (in no particular order):

      Magnolia Warbler,

Evening Grosbeak (found by Kelli Levinson)

Clark's Nutcracker (found by Kelli Levinson)

American Redstart (found by Tom Wurster)

Rose-breasted and Black-headed grosbeak (found by Steve Myers)

Blackpoll Warbler (found by Tom Wurster)

      Clay-colored Sparrow

Two Broad-winged Hawks (including a dark adult!)

Hooded Warbler (found by Andrew Howe)

Gray-headed Junco (found by Sandy Koonce)

      Pretty fun.

      Good Birding,

      John Wilson
