      Family Planning Association of India (FPA India) is a national level nongovernmental organization working in the field of sexual and reproductive health and rights since 1949. (Website: www.fpaindia.org)


      We are holding a three day training workshop on Basic Counselling Skills from 16 - 18 July, 2013.


      This course is an introduction to anyone interested in finding out more about counselling and its related aspects. It will help health care providers to help the clients cope with ‘stress’ through using counselling skills. Our small group sizes ensure individual attention and adequate time allotted for hands-on experience. The medium of instruction would be Hindi.


      The key areas covered in this course include:

      -          Counselling including values and attitudes

      -          Counselling micro skills

      -          Common behaviours

      -          Types of counselling techniques

      -          Coping with burnout


      Registration Fees: INR. 1,000/- per person
