      11th International Child Art Exhibition-2013

      In the series of conducting artistic programmes, Kshitij has organized 7 National & 10 International

      Child Art Exhibitions up till 2012. A Staggering figure of 110055 participants from all over the

      world has esteemed the exhibitions organized by Kshitij & every year about 5000 participants

      increase the participants’ tally.

      Our sole aim is to sensitize/motivate/educate young and budding children through art towards

      the topics of global concern. In order to achieve the objective, this Exhibition - carries a theme

      - “The Nature”

      Art has the power to depict our consciousness and this inturn should depict our love and concern for

      NATURE”, which is this year’s big theme across the globe. We at Kshitij, are glad to invite your

      entries portraying your thoughts on the theme of this year’s exhibition – Nature. As the vastness

      of Environment is, so is the immense creativity of an Artist. You may weave  your creations into

      “NATURE” in varied ways, from interpreting the nature, animals, birds, butterfly, flowers,

      mountains, oceans, plants/trees, rainbow, to any other artwork depicting Nature’s beauty, its problems,

      its relationships with the human, proposing new ways for restoring our ecosystem etc.

      Spread the wings of your imagination to express anything and everything related to the nature.

      Entries must be on the theme/subject Prakriti - “Nature”.

      Guidelines for Art Students/Teachers :

      1.Before the students pick the pen/pencil/brush/colours, please educate/create awareness among

      them about the importance of NATURE.

      2. It is necessary to include animals, birds, butterfly, flowers, mountains, oceans, plants/trees,

      rainbow etc.

      We hope for a wonderful response from young upcoming artists & people from all sections of the

      globe to participate & promote the efforts of Kshitij. The last date for participation for Exhibition

      is 31st May 2013 for National Entries & 31st July 2013 for International Entries.

      ELIGIBILITY FOR PARTICIPATION

      Each Institution/ School or a group of students should send minimum of 20 entries however there is

      no limit to maximum entries. Below 20 entries will not be accepted.

      Only Life members are allowed to participate individually. A minimum of 5 entries is require to be

      sent by a life member from India & 10 entries in case of International life members.

      GENERAL RULES & REGULATIONS : (Paintings/ Greetings/ Cartoon/ Poem/ Essay-Paragraph-

      Story)

      Entry means a Painting/ Greeting/ Cartoon/ Poem/ Essay-Paragraph-Story.

      Entries must be on paper.

      Entries must be on the theme/subject Prakriti - “Nature”. The student himself must make entries.

      No copied works are allowed. The works aided by some other persons, can be rejected at any stage.

      Art work can be made in any medium, like Water Colors, Pastels, Pencils or Paper Cuttings etc. And

      Poem/ Essay-Paragraph-Story can be a typed matter or written by hand legibly through Ink pen/

      ball pen in Hindi or Englishlanguage.

      Parcel of entries should be packed properly.

      Please enclose two duly stamped (Rs. 5/-) self addressed envelop one for receipt & another for result

      with the parcel of entries in respect of entries sent from within India. It is to be noted that there is no

      need to send a stamped envelope &/or a self-addressed envelop in case of entries sent from outside

      India.

      Every entry should have on its back:- (USE ONLY CAPITAL LETTERS)

      Participant's Name

      E-mail id of Participant/ Parents

      Title of the Entry

      Teacher Name

      Class & Group

      School Name, City & Country

      Full details of participant should be in clear legible block letters on the back of entry, failure of

      which would make the entry liable to be rejected on the option of management.

      Renowned personality in respective field will judge the entries. The decision of the jury, formed for

      this purpose will be final without any jurisdiction.

      Results (under online result) & Exhibition of award winning entries (under gallery option) will be

      displayed on the website www.kshitij.org latest by 30th September 2013.

      Participants will send their entries at their own risk and expenses.

      Entries will not be sent back to the participants.

      Rules are arbitrary and subject to change, if needed.


      AGE GROUP : (For Paintings/ Cartoon/ Greetings)

      Group A - Up to 1st Standard (Age up to 6 Year)

      Group B - 2nd to 3rd Standard (Age up to 6+ to 8 Year)

      Group C - 4th to 6th Standard (Age up to 8+ to 11 Year)

      Group D - 7th to 9th Standard (Age up to 11+ to 14 Year)

      Group E - 10th to 12th Standard (Age up to 14+ to 18 Year)

      Group F - For Handicap Participants (No Age Limit)

      Group G - For Life Members (No Age Limit)


      SIZE OF ART WORK (Painting/ Cartoon/ Greeting)

      Size of the Painting/ Cartoon should not exceed 15" x 11" & Size of Greeting should not

      exceed 7"x10".

      No mounted work will be entertained.


      AGE GROUP & WORD LIMIT (Poem, Essay/Paragraph/Story)

      Group A - Up to 5th Standard or up to 11 Year Age (words up to 75 words)

      Group B - 6th to 9th Standard or 11+ to 14 Year Age (words up to 125 words)

      Group C - 10th to 12th Standard or 14+ to 18 Year Age (words up to 175 words)

      Group D - For Handicap Participants - No Age Limit (words as per group A, B, C)

      Group E - Life Members of Kshitij - No Age Limit (words as per group A, B, C)


      AWARDS :

      20 Gold Medal and 20 Silver Medal for each group. (Medals are plated)

      Every Participant will be awarded a Certificate of Merit.

      A separate category of awards is made for Art Teachers, Life Members and Handicap participants.

      Kshitij Ratna Award will be awarded to Teacher & Principal who send entries more than 200.

      Kshitij Kalashri Award will be awarded to Teacher & Principal who send entries more than 100.

      The prizes of those participants who cannot collect their prizes personally for some reasons will be

      sent by regd. post/courier latest by 15th March 2014.


      ENTRY FEE :

      Rs. 70 per National Entry (from India) & Rs. 175 (Indian Currency or Equivalent Amount of

      other Currency) per International Entry (from other countries). One participant can send any

      number of entries. For example if a participant sends 2 paintings, 1 greeting, 2 cartoon then his total

      entries are 2+1+2=5 and his entry fees becomes 5 x Rs. 70 = Rs. 350 & 5X175 = Rs. 875 respectively.

      Entry fees should be sent by Bank Demand Draft or Western Union Money Transfer only in

      favour of "KSHITIJ ", payable at New Delhi or Gurgaon (Haryana).

      Entry fees can also be sent by A/c payee Cheque (payable at par through clearing) in favour of "KSHITIJ"(Only for National Participant)

      Entry fees can also be paid by E-Transfer (You may ask for bank details) 

      Entry fees can also be sent by Money Order or by cash (only by hand) only for National Participants.

      (The institution/school calculated according to the total number of entries should send

      a single Bank Demand Draft/Cheque of total amount.)
