Guru Vishram Vridh Ashram (Old Age Home) is managed by the SHEOWS. SHEOWS (Saint Hardyal Educational and Orphan Welfare Society) is registered under Society Registration Act 1860 and the Foreign Contributions (Regulation) Act, 1976. Since then it is working for the welfare of helpless old and other down trodden people of our society.

We are currently running two Vishram Vridh Ashrams under the National Programme of Vridh Seva Abhiyan of SHEOWS, since 2003. About 154 helpless, mentally and physically sick, destitute olds are being admitted to our Ashrams by Delhi Police from different places of Delhi as well as from the Govt. Hospitals and by Social Workers.

After setting of the Ashram we have provided completely free care and shelter service to over 1500 elderly individual, about 690 residents have been cremated and more than 650 people have rehabilitated and sent to their own homes. Now, they are living with their beloved one.

The project will focus mainly in to the day today needs of our old aged members. The services we provide to each of our old aged member at home are life-long for no cost added to them. We serve them by giving love, health care, food, clothes, shelter, and cremation.
