      FRIDAY
      MORNING...

      .A STORM SYSTEM CURRENTLY SOUTH AND WEST OF THE STATE
      WILL HEAD
      FOR THE SOUTHERN GREAT LAKES TONIGHT AND FRIDAY.
      COLDER AIR WILL BE
      TRAPPED NEAR THE SURFACE...WHILE WARMER AIR REMAINS IN
      PLACE ALOFT.
      PERIODS OF RAIN WILL CONTINUE ACROSS MUCH OF LOWER
      MICHIGAN TONIGHT
      AND EARLY FRIDAY. ALONG AND NORTH OF A LINE FROM
      MUSKEGON TO ALMA...
      FREEZING RAIN AND SLEET IS EXPECTED TO FALL AND
      PRODUCE SIGNIFICANT
      ICE ACCUMULATIONS FROM TONIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING.
      UP TO A HALF
      OF AN INCH OF ICE IS EXPECTED TO ACCUMULATE.

      ALONG A LINE FROM OTTAWA COUNTY TO CLINTON
      COUNTY...RAIN IS EXPECTED
      TO FALL IN THE LIQUID FORM FOR A MAJORITY OF THE
      NIGHT. AS SURFACE
      TEMPERATURES FALL TOWARD MORNING...THIS RAIN IS
      EXPECTED TO BECOME
      FREEZING RAIN BEFORE DAYBREAK. SOME ICE ACCUMULATION
      IS EXPECTED.

      THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE FOR ALL AREAS THIS
      EVENING...BUT THE
      THUNDERSTORM POTENTIAL SHOULD DIMINISH AFTER MIDNIGHT.
