Have you ever listened to the NTS net on the Link system and wondered what they're doing and what "ARL 6" means?  Do you know that the American Radio Relay League has "Relay" in its name because of passing traffic using the National Traffic System?

The National Traffic System (NTS) is the standard way of moving messages from place to place by ARES volunteers during an emergency.

Join us at the American Red Cross on Monday July 22 at 7:00, we will be having John Wehmer, K9JSR training us in what the NTS is, how the traffic moves from local nets to the national nets and back, and how to fill out a NTS traffic form!
