On an analog synth it uses a capacitor as it charges linearly you get the ramp once it gets to it charge level its discharged by a diode and the process starts

you have to add all partials for a saw wave but they need to be droped in volume in a negative exponential curve until the last partil is at 1 in the partial

I don't plan on buying cakewalk. Are there no SYS EX versions of all the factory patches? Or is there any freeware I can use to play the files? Thanks!!!

There is a utility program that can send single cycle waves to the k5 which makes it quick the only down side is it loads the waveform for both layers but

Yes, unfortunately. Or you could try to cut it out. At 25 years old, it's probably lacking voltage and might corrupt the RAM when the synth is turned off. Le
