      Hi Folks,
The first of three exam sessions went off this week and 20 new Technicians came out.  They should start receiving their licenses next week, and get on the air during the next Month or so.
PLEASE make sure to monitor and use the repeaters and give them some contacts.  Don't hassle them for small operating mistakes, we all had to learn.
          Thanks
          Bob

Hello, just joined your yahoo group.  Want to get into Amateur Radio, not licensed as of yet.  Just wondering about the exams. Is it possible to study and take the General exam and have that as your initial ticket if you don't have the Technician designation.  Thought I saw something about that on the internet.  Wasn't sure how that worked.  Thanks. Mike.
