The PGA (Planetary Gemologists Association), known in Sanskrit as the
Graha-anukul ratna-visheshajna parishad, has begun functioning as an
Internet based cyber Institute. Planetary Gemology, i.e.,
the Vedic "Nava ratna" or 9 GEMS system of metaphysical birthstones, is
a combination of three (3) Vedic Sciences, viz., gemology, astrology
      and jewelry or talisman making.

The PGA has devised a 45 question test for certification as a "PGA" or
Planetary Gem Advisor. This test is found on the World Wide Web at
http://www.p-g-a.org/pga-test.html The PGA test is open
book with no time limit so the scoring is strict (4 mistakes is failure
to pass). All answers can be found on the PGA's WWW site at http://p-
g-a.org , and successful applicants will receive the "PGA"
(Planetary Gem Advisor) Diploma. Successful PGAs who are also
certified gemologists will be awarded the "PG" or PLANETARY GEMOLOGIST
      Degree (pictured).

Although newly formed the PGA is becoming the World Authority on
Planetary Gemology and the PGA & PG Diplomas will serve as a guarantee
of excellence to the innocent public.

Currently the PGA lists over 100 PGs and PGAs on the Web at http://
      www.p-g-a.org/pgs.html
