  • Many libraries have support for comments. Libjson for example supports /* c comments */, //c++ comments, and #bash comments Sent from my iPhone On May 26, 2013, at 10:13, Dave Gamble wrote: > On Sunday, May 26, 2013, douglascrockford wrote: > >> ** >> >> >> --- In json@^$1 > 'json%40yahoogroups.com');>, Dave Gamble wrote: >>>> --- In json@^$2 > 'json%40yahoogroups.com');> >>> 'json...

  • Interesting, internally they use a custom container, but has named access time of O(n) so unordered comparison would end up being arithmetic sum of n. I figured in JavaScript it wouldn't matter, but there are lots of people in other languages that use Json in other ways. If the rfc is silent on it, then it would be library specific and not to be relied on. Perhaps I will add a...

  • I received this email today: =============== I am testing out using libjson in our project and am looking for a little guidance. I expected that when comparing two JSONNode objects via operator==, it would ignore ordering. However, this does not seem to be the case. For example: JSONNode node1 = libjson::parse("{\"uid\":\"mopub_id\", \"uid1\":\"mopub_id1\"}"); JSONNode node2...

  • Libjson will parse them all, if you attempt to get the object by its key and said key is not unique, it will give you the first one. The only way to get the second would be to use an integrator and check the keys one by one. I've had a few requests to throw exceptions in the case of multiple objects with the same key, but it would break the standard. Sent from my iPhone On Sep 5...

  • Oops, I mentioned that to the benchmarker, I thought he altered the benchmark. You can see the benchmark to libjson fully parsing in the comment of the thread he posted on my sourceforge: http://sourceforge.net/projects/libjson/forums/forum/1119661/topic/4756047 ________________________________ From: Rob Meijer To: json@^$1 Sent: Thursday, November 24, 2011 12:34 AM Subject: Re...

  • Hello, I was sent a message on sourceforge a while ago about someone doing a benchmark test of the most popular c++ json libraries. He compared json_spirit (Boost), CAJUN, and libjson. He attempted to include jsoncpp in his tests, but said he couldn't get it to compile. I was sent the results this weekend: http://lijoblogs.blogspot.com/2011/11/comparison-and-benchmark-of-c-json...

  • I don't see why not. JSON is lightweight, I use it for configuration all the time. I maintain a project called libjson that might work well for you. There are ways to configure it so that it never calls malloc/free, and it has compiling options for embedded systems. If you want to know how to do this with libjson, you can email me directly, or ask on the sourceforge page...

  • I got a ton of requests for some security features, so I added DoS attack detection and prevention, also made it faster and fixed some bugs. https://sourceforge.net/projects/libjson/ [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

  • Since I've received a number of requests for more security options in libjson, I'm in the process of adding them and I have two questions regarding the default values. libjson will allow you to change these values, but I want to set a default. My new security features protect against DoS attacks. I have a maximum nesting depth option and a maximum json length option. My current...
