- bear canisters make for really great laundry buckets...
didn't see any laundry facilities at TM, but Reds upgraded this year and
added a second dryer to keep up with the one washer. $1.75 for the
washer, $0.50 for the dryer sounds like a deal, until you get to the
store and they tell you the guy who has been packing the powdered soap
into single servings isn't there this summer, so you end up buying a $10
bottle of detergent. We left ours more or less full in the bear box at
hiker camp area in Reds Meadow campground - check there first before you
spend $10 on detergent.
