The permit is for 5, but I had one person that will not be able to make it now. The hike will start in Tuolumne Meadows then head up Rafferty Creek over Vogelsang Pass, follow the High Trail towards Isberg Pass Jct., down canyon from Triple Creek Jct following the Merced River down to Little Yosemite Valley, a side trip up Half Dome, follow the JMT Sunrise, then either head to Cathedral Lakes, or backtrack down to go back up towards Vogelsang to complete a loop. We are planning on 5 nights, but it may work out to 4 depending on group pacing. Mileage will be between 13-16 MPD, plus any side trips anyone wants to do, ie; Isberg Pass, Upper Lyell Fork of the Merced, Red Devil Lake etc. The trip could be made shorter if needed by anyone wanting to exit at HI and take YARTS back to TM, if 4-5 nights is too long.
