I have a site that I had the same vision for, to
promote the JMT and be a place where we could share
our experiences and information. I am vitally
interested in the JMT, and will continue to explore
the lateral entry trails, and places to explore around
We through hiked the JMT in 2007. I was surprised
when I went to look for info on hiking the JMT that
there was not an organization specifically dedicated
to it, and think it would be cool to do something like
that. I had hesitated to bring it up on yahoo groups
as I did not want to usurp anyone's territory.
Because I do know a little about web design and SEO,
my site is listed right behind the PCT website when
you search Google for John Muir Trail. I would like to
invite participation in this site, and I may need some
technical support from some of you for blogs and
forums. Please contact me if you are interested.
Check it out
