- Aug 26, 2013Here's a few that I use…for the NWS sites, look at the map on the right for the location, rather than the name on the top right. You can also click on the map for a different location if you want, or put in your own name or coordinates in the box in the upper left.
On the bottom it says "Zone area forecast" which gives a summary and includes special warnings. Beneath that is a "Forecast Discussion" which gives you the meteorological reasoning behind the 7 day forecast. Its updated morning and night, I believe.
The next site gives a current radar of precipitation:

Here is a good local forecaster - click on "Daily Forecasts" and you can also subscribe:
And there's this site for Wunderground, which also has a great doppler and temperature link as well as warnings:
