1. The JL Charity Auction is live! We're delighted to make this pet

2. More on the virus SPAM situation we previously reported: It
doesn't seem to be letting up, in fact we're getting more in our
inboxes now than ever. And since we seem to be emailing *ourselves*
now - (SPAM purportedly from news@JL turning up in admin@JL and so
on - OY!) we wanted to remind you all one more time that if you
receive a suspicious looking email from one of the JL addies, please
delete it immediately. We really can't control it, but we can advise
everyone to be wary; if the JL staff sends out any emails, subject
headers will be much more pointed than a vague "Hi there!" or some
such blurb. Thanks!

3. Lastly, a quick notice and thanks to our regulars who have been so
helpful forwarding news - your work is immensely appreciated. Which
is why we wanted to mention that lately we've received a LOT of links
to articles which are a syndicated interiews. (i.e. they are printed
in several publications over a few weeks' time.) No worries, it
happens all the time and it's nigh impossible to keep track of them
all - just wanted to remind folks that if we did not include your
link, it does not necessarily mean we didn't get it. Just that we
realized we've covered it already. :-)
