- Hi Claudiu,Yes, you can feel free to quote me, giving attribution, with regard to both of those posts. If there is any way that you can also direct interested readers either to this discussion group or to my website, http://dharmatreasure.org, I would greatly appreciate it. Not because I'm trying to become famous. It's just that I don't know how long I'll be around, and I'd like to reach as many interested people as I can with as much useful info as I can. Thanks,Culadasa

Subject: [jhana_insight] To Culadasa - OK to quote some of your posts in MCTB?
Hello Culadasa,
My name's Claudiu. A quick introduction: I am practicing for the end of suffering and to help others end theirs as well =). I occasionally post a lot and occasionally a little on the Dharma Overground ( http://dharmaoverground.org/web/guest/discussion/-/message_boards/recent_posts ).
I recently saw a post by you quoted on the Dharma Overground forum, on a thread about past lives: http://dharmaoverground.org/web/guest/discussion/-/message_boards/message/2955183 . The specific post that Nikolai quoted was this one: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/jhana_insight/message/3006 . I found it remarkably well-worded and containing sensible advice.
Daniel Ingram is expanding his book, Mastering the Core Teachings of the Buddha, in a crowd-sourcing-like manner, by having a few people make edits to the original text in wiki format. I thought that your post might fit well into one chapter of that book on the powers: http://www.dharmaoverground.org/web/guest/dharma-wiki/-/wiki/Main/MCTB%20The%20Psychic%20Powers?p_r_p_185834411_title=MCTB%20The%20Psychic%20Powers .
Would it be alright for me to quote your message in that (publicly available) book? I've already added it, but let me know if you'd like me to remove it, or to quote it in a particular way.
I also liked your post talking about part of the reason the Insight Knowledges occur the way they do - http://groups.yahoo.com/group/jhana_insight/message/2805 . Would it be alright for me to quote that as well, in a different part of the book?
Thanks in advance,
- Claudiu

Certainly. Hopefully you will be around many years, but I understand the sentiment. What do you think of the way the attribution looks now? ( http://tinyurl.com/7n3we56 - tinyurl cause actual url is too huge ).
Thanks again,
Claudiu - Very good! Thank you.
