I'm having some trouble with understanding my
great-grandfather's family and/or patronymic names. It doesn't help
that a lot of documents are incomplete or simply can't
be found (such as the passenger record). So, I'm
hoping if I share what I have, someone will be able to
make a suggestion as to what this man's name is/was
... and more imporantly what name(s) am I looking
for?

I'm going to present the name
information in chronological order -- in otherwords, the
oldest records first as I would assume they would be
more accurate.

First, a few names:

1
My great-grandfather: ABRAHAM MAX/MOTL GOLDGEJT/GOLD
or ANDEROV -- and who knows what else
+ His
wife, ZELDA (JENNIE) FEIERMAN
1-1 His son,
RUBEN (ROBERT) GOLD (my grandfather)

How I've
formatted the events

---DATE---: Title of Document
[notes]
type of information: actual information
