SEASON TWO DELAY
================
It all started on the 28th when Showtime sent out their November
newsletter. Among other news, they had a short blurb about Jeremiah:
> Original Series
Speculation has been running rampant in the various online places where we
> Jeremiah
> Season Finale:
> Friday, November 7th at 10pm ET/PT
> http://sho.com/jeremiah/
chat about Jeremiah and everyone wants to know what exactly "Season
Finale" means. We checked Showtime's online schedule and on November 7th @
10pm the "Season Finale" episode will air which is THE MYSTERIOUS MISTER
SMITH (episode #6). Another new episode immediately follows it at 10:45pm
which is VOICES IN THE DARK (episode #7).
We know for a fact that there were fifteen episodes produced for season
two as it was announced in Showtime's press release on October 2nd, 2002
that they "renewed JEREMIAH for a second season with 15 additional
episodes":

You can also see the list of fifteen episodes (which include short
synopsis for each so beware of spoilers) on MGM's official site:
http://www.jeremiah.tv/episodes.html
However, today we just got an email from Scott Mitchell Rosenberg
(Jeremiah Executive Producer and Platinum Studios Chairman) with this
information:
> I'm happy that our numbers keep growing. As we head toward the Jeremiah
It sounds like season two will end after episode #7 (VOICES IN THE DARK)
> 2003 season finale (November 7th), our viewers are growing in numbers
> with each episode including an over 50% increase in its time slot from.
> even the premiere.
>
> We don't have a date yet for Jeremiah's 2004 season, but it'll be at
> least 8 episodes, and I'll let you know as soon as I know.
>
> Thanks all, and I appreciate any support you can give. We want our 2004
> season to start as soon as possible!!!
and season three will begin with episode #8 (CROSSING JORDAN) and will
contain the remaining eight episodes from season two. We can only hope
that more episodes will be produced after that.
We have more information from Mr. Rosenberg about the two upcoming
episodes airing this Friday so we have posted the spoiler protected quotes
on our forums:

JEREMIAH PORTAL ON HORIZON
==========================
This was posted a few days ago on Showtime's message boards (it has since
been deleted by Showtime) so we wanted to share this information with you.
We have been in contact with both Ryan McLelland (freelance writer and
organizer of this portal) and Scott Mitchell Rosenberg about this project
but this is the first we have heard of the details. Sounds exciting!
> Platinum Studios, the executive producers of the show, are putting
CONCLUSION
> together a central hub that fan sites out there can link to and any fan
> can go to and find lots of great Jeremiah information. The portal will
> start off with more in depth synopsis of the upcoming episodes and will
> soon include many production sketches for the show, current interviews
> of the cast, clips from the show, pictures and the biggest web event
> never to hit...
>
> The aborted web campaign, which was scheduled to hit the web months
> before the first season. It was going to start off with the Big Death
> just hitting and follow some characters as the Big Death took the world
> by storm. It was supposed to lead right up to the first episode of
> Season One of Jeremiah, but the campaign fell off track after the 9/11
> tragedy. For the first time, this material will be presented for the
> fans.
>
> What else? Original scripts from the show will also make their way to
> the site, letting everyone read what goes from page to screen.
>
> I'm Ryan McLelland, a huge Jeremiah fan who is also writing some of the
> content for the new site. It should launch within the next few days and
> I'll be back to post the exact link but until then you can check out
> Jeremiah page over at Platinum at:
