Re: Once Saved, Always Saved: Mark.
You see this is the problem.
The ministers who try to put people in heaven that are NOT 'self
confessed' christians are not really proper ministers are they?
Just because they wear a gown and have the gift of the gab
doesn't mean that they wear Christ and have the gift of the Spirit.
The head of the CHURCH is CHRIST not the head of the minister
is Christ. The head of the society's church is the governing body
Just like the Catholic church. Christ is second to both these
A minister, paster, bishop or whatever, is nothing
more than a shepherd. The christian decides through their own
discernment which church they think is Spirit filled and preaching
truth and opeating in love. Then they decide to submit to this
particular church body, not out of having to do what they say but to
become a part of that body to minister as well as receive ministry.
The bible is full of warnings about the fact that their are 'so
called' followers of Christ who appear to be the real thing but are
false. They scatter instead of gather. Onne of the signs that they
are false is that THEY establish ABSOLUTE AUTHORITY.
Remind you of anyone? :)
Paul says, "For the time will come when men will not put up with
sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather
around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching
ears want to hear".
Notice that the ministers are established by the people?
But, some want to hear comfortable truths and not God's truths
hence, we have liberal ministers.
The society throws all of christendom in the same trof in order to
make themselves shine in your eyes. The fact that you all have to
lick their boots makes it appear that you are all in harmonious
There is a difference between submision and dictation. The Mormons
are all in harmonious agreement arn't they? Is that because they've
OBVIOUSLY found the truth in the book of mormon? or is it because
the mormons have to do what bro Smith tells them?
A true minister will not say that a dead person is going to heaven
or hell if they are uncertain. Its in God's hands. Only God knows
It's the same with the society's ministers, they don't know what
Jehovah is going to do with a once faithfull JW servant. It's in
