  • that's it. 30 minutes after I posted I remembered about emacs highlighting the selected line. is there a way to get more colors ? I had thought one of the older versions had much more of a selection. --- In jasspa@^$1, Steven Phillips wrote: > > Did you update the 'Sel-Cur' scheme? • I just downloaded and installed the latest version of emacs and I changed the highlight scheme to blue background with white lettering. I noticed that when I go to the end of the buffer, set the mark then go to the top of the buffer, everything is highlighted except the first line. Is this a known bug/issue ?

  • yes! I occaisionally use numbered lists/paras and it has happened in the past, but I don't use them nearly as much. it will be much simpler to keep this at lengh zero and then change it for the rare occaisions I need it. Thanks, Gadrin. --- In jasspa@^$1, Jon Green wrote: > This is caused by the $fill-bullet when it thinks it has found a bullet > character and tries to do a hanging indent. i.e.

Tools seems the most logical, as Format deals with the contents of the buffer and File seems external. It's almost a "meta-category" and more of an "editor config" type of operation, which I think would fit inside Tools.

  • Hello, I'd like to be able utilize the TEXT TOOLS menu from within HTML files. I often need to edit HTML files, but they run off the screen and would like to be able to work with JUSTIFY LEFT (C-c C-l) just so I can see the text, and of course HTML will render it fine in a browser. Is that possible, or should I just move the HTML macro files into a different folder ?
