On my winnt 4.0 / win95b computer the default keyboard driver for cmd.exe
      and command.com
is an ASCII-DOS font like in edit.com.
using MicroEmacs 98 or 99 the keyboard driver is in ANSI-WIN mode like
      notepad.exe
in %windir\me32.ini (ver 98) the default Display font can be changed or with
      the command:

to edit a text in ANSI mode for keyboard and screen mode I have done in ver
      98:
      ver 98 1998/09/2
      file me.emf
      change-font "Courier" "1" "7" "10" "18"

Because the ANSI Ver has no special Box-fonts I used
      set-variable $box-chars "|+++++++++-"

      In ver 99 Beta 2
the command change-font gives me only an interactive windows screen - at
      every time
I start emacs I have to change the font interactively .

Is it possible to change the screen font in me.emf automaticaly to an ANSI
      Font?
Changes in me32.ini has no effect it always use app850.fon.
      (main question)
