Thank you very much for pursuing the submission and
coming out with perceptions based on the differing
levels of understanding of the individuals
constituting Jain community to enlighten your views.
With due respect and regard to the learned
participant, it is inclined to feel that the following
may throw more light to better the views rendered.
Let us analyze the statements:
But we should remeber that matured sravaks were
immature before becoming matured.
You are right that maturity can be from immaturity
only and in other words all Siddhas of today and who
are in the making were/are only mithyadhrishtis only.
Mithyaadhrishitis only become Samyakdhrishtis.
To create environment we must propagate Jain teachings
as it will let others know why we are what we are.
Environment viz., Jinalayas, swadhyaaya, Acharya
Shris, Muni Shris, hundreds of Vitraag Jain Dharmic
Sacred scriptures are very much available freely and
always but what is absent is only the true or real
interest in it. Interest to know oneself is what is
unseen and unheard due to beginning less ignorance in
soul. Suffering is continuous and when it is less, a
fall from more of it, soul believes that it is
enjoying. Whereas the alleged enjoyment is the
diminished suffering or less painful and not real
bliss or joy as envisaged in vitraag Jina Dharma.
Where there is a will there is a way.
If one is serious of liberating from the cycle of
birth and death, it is not at all difficult to avail
supporting and helpful environment but the seriousness
is not born out of environment but due to ones own
effort and even after knowing the environment one is
purely and completely or solely responsible for
developing seriousness or interest or involvement in
knowing and believing and conducting one as self
soul. Jina Dharma calls it as samyakthva.
For example Marici, the grandson of Baghavaan Shri
Adhinaath and the son of Baghavaan Bharath and newphew
of Baghavaan Baghubali, was the author and originator
of 363-mithyaa maths wrong faiths during this birth.
Can any one think of a more salubrious or conducive or
suitable environment than this. Grandfather was the
first Thrithankar and Kualakaar, father and his uncle
were thadbhava mokshakaami souls attaining
liberation in the same birth. But the soul of Marici
was disinterested and disillusioned in the preaching
and living of these benevolent souls and could become
the 24th Thirthankar Baghavaan Mahavir after several
lacs of years but no such environment was present when
He took to Diksha and attained Keval Gynaan. So it is
for the valued participants to assess the importance
or relevance of environment for one to achieve ones
Environment or presence of Thrithankar or Jinalayas or
vitraag sacred books or vitraag Guru is only a nimitta
instruamental cause and not upadhana substantial
But let it not be misunderstood and repeat not to be
misunderstood that they are unnecessary but such and
similar instrumental causes will and must be present
uncalled for and unasked for when soul decides or
determines to pursue the path of moksha marg path of
we as Jain must speak and talk about our relegion to
everybody who is ready to give earful.
But nothing wrong in propagation of vitraag Jina
Dharma as rightly expressed by you but due regard to
the last few words who is ready to give earful.
So those who have a desire or bent of mind to know one
self soul and the ways to purify, will have least
difficulty or impediment in finding and securing what
You will not be surprised and may perhaps know too
that Jina Sacred Scripture - Prathaanuyog carries in
it numerous episodes to confirm this message.
Willingness or interest ruchi - is the prime factor.
Secondly in olden days Jain rich sravaks used to build
institution and dharam shala and schools which used to
help society at large. But currently the Jains are
concetrating there effort only in building temples in
their community. Then by next generation the
community dissolves because the kids grow up and move
out different town/city. And then there is nobody to
take care of the temple.
Cent percent right, you are, in foreseeing or
foretelling the future of Jinalyas. It is only serious
and concerted efforts on all of us to continuously
pursue in persuading the well to do or interested to
participate in providing more social amenities for the
needy to take shelter.
But what happens is only known to Keval Gynaani and
one need not much disturbed or perturbed of that
situation, as what ever is going to happen will happen
as depicted in the knowledge screen of Keval Gyanni.
However your bhaava thinking is good and results in
the inflow of punnya.
In conclusion inter or intra faith (religious) rivalry
is not advocated any where in Jina Dharma or Jina
Saasan and as a shravak or householder it is clearly
stated to maintain madhyastha bhava equanimity in
Let this submission be not mistaken for imposition but
only a humble rendition of perceptions. If found
hurting please forgive and forget.
Truth is Kevalin and the rest mine.
Know thyself and be thyself is the essence of the
revelation of Kevalin.
Now for the participants,
