Julia Roberts convert herself to Hinduism

      Julia Roberts becomes a Hindu

Renowned Hollywood actress Julia Roberts recently became a Hindu. This news was spread like a virus by Indian Print and electronic media and there was a hysteric welcome of Julia’s conversion to Hinduism in some section of Indian society. Of course, smart people suddenly assumed that it might be her publicity stunt.

Now, this article is for those who liked to welcome Julia’s conversion, whether it is true or a stunt.

In recent few decades, hundreds of Millions of Hindus are converted to other religions like Islam and Christianity. There is a great displeasure about Hinduism in mighty communities like Marathas, Jats and Dalits in India. Many Dalits are converting to Buddhism, and Marathas to the newly formed Shivdharm. A revolution against Hinduism is taking place. How can you ignore this thing?

In Julia’s own country, Islam is the fastest growing religion. Many Hollywood and celebrities have adopted Islam. Even Mr. Barack Obama, the great President of United states is a Muslim from his father’s side, and many members of his family are followers of Islam. On the other hand, many Hollywood celebrities have been converted to Buddhism and Jainism. When an American converts to these other religions, Indian media always ignore it, but in case of conversion to Hinduism, there is a great propaganda.

Now, a great question arises. As Julia Roberts have become a Hindu, what is her place in the structure of Hindu community? No Hindu is known as Hindu, but he/she is known by caste? So what is Julia’s caste? What is the place of her caste in the Varn system? ABrahmin? Or a Shudra?

The most important thing is does Hinduism allows such type of conversions?
