      Lighting The Bonfire

The following is one of those personal experiences of the author of JAIL4Judges (Ron Branson) in his travels in behalf of J.A.I.L. which has proven to be a great boon for the cause of freedom in the country. Because of its significance, he deems it worthy of sharing this encouragement with all.

What started out as a simple three-hundred mile one-way trip to Nevada to meet with the Head of J.A.I.L. from Washington State, who was also traveling there on business, developed into a trip for J.A.I.L. beyond imagination.

It was suggested by our Head of Washington J.A.I.L. (Brad), that I pre-announce my arrival by sending out an email to our JAILers in and around the Las Vegas area. Having so done, I left for Las Vegas Thursday  evening, March 1st, arriving in the early hours of Saturday morning.

After the breaking of dawn, I entered the Orleans Casino and placed my first phone call to one of our faithful Las Vegas JAIL laborers. Arrangements had already been made, following a prepared breakfast, for me to go on the Lou Epton Show where I addressed the large radio audience about our nationwide endeavor to bring about judicial accountability to this entire country. Lou Epton was humored by some of the things I had to share with his listeners, followed by call-ins to the radio show. I felt greatly honored to be Epton's guest on such short notice.

That afternoon I was directed to the Las Vegas Tribune where the paper wanted to write a story about J.A.I.L., and as soon as I walked in the door, I was met by talk show host, Lady Liberty, who immediately asked if I would like to go on her radio show that same evening. I accepted, and by eight o'clock I was on the air again for another three hours. (I believe a plug for her daily radio show is quite appropriate here.) She may be heard on 1060 AM Monday thru Friday starting at 8 p.m. out of Las Vegas, and on the internet at www.kkvv.com.

On both of the radio programs I promoted a gathering to take place in Las Vegas the following evening, Saturday, at 7 pm, in which the listeners could attend free of charge and, if interested, could purchase a J.A.I.L. T-Shirt.

In the meantime, I was taken into the home of one of our JAILers where I was given the best of accommodations of a private bedroom and bath through to Monday, my day of departure.

On Saturday evening we gathered a whole room of people anxious to hear more about JAIL4Judges. I stood up and stated a few introductory remarks and introduced Brad Goodspeed of Washington J.A.I.L. and Christopher Hansen, who is heading up Nevada J.A.I.L., with both giving the group their presentation, followed by questions from the audience.

I was grilled by one gentleman with several questions, of which I was at first wondering if he was a heckler, but after I had satisfactorily answered his many questions, he took up my challenge to began an organized effort to have the Nevada J.A.I.L. Initiative in the hands of the Nevada Secretary of State within two weeks. He stood to his feet, with the blessing of Chris Hansen, and within ten minutes on the spot, they had elected their full slate of Executive Officers and are planing their first Nevada JAIL Executive meeting this coming Saturday, March 10th.

Everyone in that room containing over thirty persons showed unanimous support for J.A.I.L. and indicated a desire to become a Nevada JAILer. And so a positive movement in Nevada was born with that 3/3/01 Founder's Meeting. The Las Vegas Tribune, which may be reached at (702) 366-9310, was present with camera and took pictures for their soon to be published newspaper article about J.A.I.L., which we are sure to republish for our JAIL News Journal subscribers. It was so encouraging to see this "Lighting of a Bonfire" in the State of Nevada!

I was assured by the newly elected leadership that they have experience in getting other Nevada Initiatives on the ballot and passed, and that they WILL also get J.A.I.L. on the ballot in Nevada.

I shouldn't have to remind America that the winning of JAIL in Nevada means the winning of freedom for America, for all J.A.I.L. needs is to win in just one state, and the other forty-nine states are a forgone conclusion.  Then, it will be Federal J.A.I.L., a proposed bill to Congress.

Our website, www.jail4judges.org has been down for a few days, and greatly missed, but it is up now where we now have full-featured web host capabilities that will allow us to expand and build a website that is only limited by imagination. We would like to see this site become the glory of this nation with everything imaginable, serving all fifty states.

J.A.I.L. is taking the lead in this country, and will continue to grow in its influence beyond measure. I was treated on this trip as if I were the President of the United States coming to town.

One last statement - the LadyLiberty Show, (Patricia Saye) will be playing J.A.I.L.'s one minute Public Service Announcement daily. Our thanks to LadyLiberty@..., the newly elected secretary of Nevada JAIL.
