      Cicero Dawson Millican, 71, died Nov 13, 1941, at his home Thursday in Christian Home Beat on Sand Mountain, Flat Rock, Ala., after an illness of six weeks. The funeral was held at the residence Saturday morning at 10 o'clock & burial was in The Maxwell Cemetery with Rudder Funeral Home in charge. He is survived by his widow, Ida Millican, one daughter; Mrs. O. C. Dunn, two sons, Fred & Grady Millican, all of Christian Home. He leaves a step-daughter, Mrs Maude Gray, of Trenton, Ga., and a step-son, T. Brady Bunch, of Flat Rock, Ala. Mr Millican was a native of Georgia but moved to his present home community about 55 years ago & has since engaged in the mercantile & farming business. He was a member of the Church of God congregation. He was one of the widest known men of Sand Mountain & was especially well known in the county seat; as he took an active interest in politics & was a leader in his section.
