Subject: Re: [jacksongenealogy] Morgan, Thompson, Gullatt, Smith, Clark, Browning, Campbell, Ryan did the Morgans come from Mars?

Did the Morgans come from Mars by space ship? The
way they just dropped into Jackson County it
would seem so. This is my Morgan connection.

Lucinda Gullatt b. ca 1809/12 GA m. Samuel
Thompson b. ca 1803 GA or SC. one of their sons
was Fowler Thompson b. ca 1836/39 AL.

      1870 Census Beat 10 Bellefonte,Jackson Co. AL

Farley (Fowler) Thompson 31 Farmer AL
Lucindy (Gullatt) 59 Keeping House GA
      Jane Morgan 19 AL
John Morgan 10 Farm Laborer AL

      House 49 Family 48
David C. Clark 33 Farmer AL
Julia A. 28 Keeping House AL
      Sarah Morgan 17 AL

David C. Clark is the son of Isaac and Jemima
Clark and brother of Juliet Clark first wife of
James M. Gullatt (my Gggrandfather) and Martha
Elizabeth Clark first wife of James' twin Thomas
      J. Gullatt.

Fowler Thompson m. Jane Morgan 5 May 1872 by 1880
both were dead leaving two daughters.

Elizabeth 5 Granddaughter AL AL AL
Mary L. 1 Grandgraughter AL AL AL
John Morgan 19 Laborer AL AL AL

Lucinda (Gullatt) Thompson died ca 1884 and her 2
granddaughters when to lived with Thomas J.
      Gullatt at the County Poorhouse.

Elizabeth Thompson m. John Gullatt 11 Jan 1891
Mary Thompson m. Lawrence Smith 9 Oct 1899
John Morgan m. Adaline Ryan 19 Aug 1883

John Gullatt was the son of Thomas J. Gullatt and
his second wife Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth (Browning)

On the 1900 Mary Thompson 22 Widow is living with
John 33 and Liza (Thompson) Gullatt 24.

Does anyone connect to these families?

What connection did the Morgans have to the
Gullatts and Clarks that they were living with
      them on the 1870?

I have found nothing on Jane, John or Sarah
      Morgan before 1870.
