Nelda, you need to talk to Dot Williams. She is a McCoy and she lives in the Stevenson area. I will send you her e-mail addy.

He was b. in 1847 & b. in Watson Cem., Arlington, TX. He m. Martha Hendricks Arnold, in 1871. Martha had m. a John
Arnold in early 1860's & he died in 1869. In the Stevenson Story by Eliza b. Woodall, she tells that Martha Hendricks was
Johns 3rd wife, when he died, she married James McCoy in 1871, and they went to TX with the 3 Arnold children. James was
still in Jackson in 1880 Dist 97 7th Beat, with 4 ch., but no Martha. Martha shows on 1870 Pleasant Grove Beat 7, still as a
Martha Arnold, with 3 Arnold ch. So don't know where Martha was in 1880, unless she came to TX before James McCoy.
A Marthy McCoy is b. near James F. McCoy in Watson Cem., so assume it must be her. Her dau. Musadora(Dora)Arnold
      m. Isaac Grider, son of John Blair & Frances Grider, all of Jackson Co, and Isaac & Dora are b. in same cemetery. Also a
Grandaughter of Martha's is b. there. Dora div.Isaac & married Robert Young from Jackson, & he is b. in Watson Cem.

I have found a James McCoy(correct age for our James), with parents Andrew & Louisa McCoy in 1870 Pleasant Grove,
Big Coon P.O., 7th Beat. Does anyone know about Andrew & Louisa, and might possibly know if this would be correct
      parents for our James?

Also looking for any info on Martha Hendricks family.
