      Ann,

Need to go to Scottsboro and pick up tractor parts at Deans farm supply and will be headed north on 72 anyway, so could go on to other locations. Do you know, for sure, if other locations have the book? What is the Lena Cagle Library and where is it located?

BRIDGEPORT, ALABAMA: Gateway to the Sequatchie Valley is a photographic
history published by Ron Lee and Dennis Lambert, Jr. in 2008. It
contains over 600 photographs, illustrations, local cemetery
inventories, and many family histories. Approximately 60 per cent of
the images and text are from original sources, previously never in print.
The book can be purchased at the Scottsboro Public Library, the Lena
Cagle Library in Bridgeport, AL, the Stevenson Depot Museum, the
Scottsboro-Jackson County Chamber of Commerce, or the
Scottsboro-Jackson County Heritage Center in Scottsboro for $34.50.
_Regina said the Scottsboro Library had sold out when she recently tried
to buy a copy, but I feel sure Ron Lee will take more copies to them
      within the week._
This book is hardcover with excellent stories and photographs. Lee and
Lambert did the program for the July Jackson County Historical
Association meeting, and several attendees commented it was one of the
best programs we have ever had.
To order the book by mail, write to Dennis Lambert, P. O. Box 232,
Bridgeport, AL 35740 or email Dennis at:
bridgeportbook@.... The book is $34.50 plus $6.90 for
shipping and insurance via USPS Media Mail. Make your check to
      Bridgeport, Alabama History.
