Ida COOLEY SMITH was the sister to my grandfather James William COOLEY. I
would love to know more about the COOLEY and SMITH families. My grandfather
J W COOLEY married Lucinda Annie Jane SMITH. Annie was the daughter of
Isaac and Martha HICKS SMITH. I am betting that Annie and Jane were
related. Annie had a sister Martha, and two brothers Isaac "Ike" and Jim
SMITH. They were all born in Tennessee and later moved to Jackson County,
      Al.
