- Just a note to put things in perspective. The LDS Church is currently
involved in a program, where volunteers transcribe records for the Church
and they are then put onto the internet. It is the intention of the Church
to place, every record that they have, eventually on the internet to be made
available to all. If you would care to volunteer to do this work, go to this
site and read what is happening.
Yes, I am a member of the LDS church and have been doing this for many
months. We welcome your help.
BTW the Church does not own Ancestry or any other sites other than
"FamilySearch.org". Hope this helps to clear up things and again, we invite
you to join in this transcription program.
